Amanda began her academic pursuit of jewellery studies with a Gemmology Certificate followed by an Advanced Diploma in Jewellery Arts from George Brown College, where she won several awards. Upon completion of her studies, she earned a one-year scholarship as an artist-in-residence in the metal studio at Toronto's Harbourfront Centre.
Her work has been exhibited across Canada and the U.S., including recent exhibitions: Zilberschmuck’s Superstitions and Harbourfront’s First Hand. Amanda’s work won 3rd place in Harmony, a North American-wide jewellery design competition, sponsored by Hoover and Strong, and was featured at the Society of North American Goldsmith’s (SNAG) conference, 2011.
Currently, Amanda is a resident goldsmith at Jewel Envy, Toronto. Her work explores the use of line and form in three-dimensional design. Amanda continues to design and create custom work to satisfy the desires of her clients.
