Mauricio Franco

Mauricio is a Colombian jewelry designer. He started his career with a title in Industrial Design, working as a graphic designer and miniature sculptor. After finishing his degree he was introduced to the fashion and accessories world when he worked as an intern for the Fernanda Arias brand. This experience led him back to school to learn about jewelry, where he completed a degree in Technical Labor of Jewelry Arts. After completing his degree he was recommended to a position to teach introductory contemporary jewelry techniques involving non-traditional materials through the same institution he learned at. He is currently studying Fashion Business so that his skills and business finesse can successful merge as he continues to grow his brand.

His Jewelry concepts come from the mixture of different techniques generally applied to the production of industrialized materials, especially plastics and resins, introducing non-traditional and organic with traditional jewelry metals like silver and gold to create wearable pieces of art.
