DESCRIPTION:Day 1 is gem-cutting cabochons. Day 2 is bezel setting a round or oval cabochon gem. This class has an additional material fee of $35 plus hst and includes up to 10 grams of sterling silver. \nStudents can choose to sign up for the 2 days and cut gemstones for both days (this must be organized at the time of sign up). \nStudents can choose to sign up for either single day- please use the single day registration form.

DESCRIPTION:In this class you will fabricate a sterling silver ring that has a round faceted stone set in a double bezel. A gemstone will be provided but if you would like to bring your own please make sure it is: round\, faceted\, is between 5-10mm in diameter\, has a hardness of at least 7 on the Moh’s hardness scale. If you are unsure about your stone choice please discuss with us before the class.
