My husband’s wedding band unfortunately broke. It was custom made at Jewel Envy in 2019.
The ring is size 8 ½, 14k Nickle white gold 1.3mm thick, slightly curved, 1mm thick wood veneer on the inside, 4mm wide in total. The wood veneer is what broke.

In general anything with wood needs extra special care especially when in a ring. That means it can’t come in contact with water or other chemicals. It needs to be removed before all activities as well as before sleeping. A new wood veneer can be added to it but I think there needs to be more of a conversation around how the ring is worn and what will work best for your husband.
