This class is to be taken in conjunction with the 8 week Gem Setting Class starting on Tuesday October 17th, 2023. If you sign up for the 8 week gem setting workshop and do not have prior jewellery making experience you will need to take this class so that you can learn how to emery and polish the cast kit you will be using to learn to set gems with. These skills are not taught in the 8 week class and those who do not take the prep day class are expected to be able to finish the cast pieces on their own outside of class time. You will need to pay for this class and the 8 week gem setting class in full with the gem setting kit by the start of this class.
