Eunice Lin, the designer and goldsmith behind Eunice L Designs is a jeweller residing in Toronto. Hailing from a family in the jewellery industry, Eunice’s passion for jewellery started at a young age watching her father source gemstones and has only amplified since then. She also got to dip her toes into industry by attending the Tucson gem show as a vendor with her parents in the past. She is a classically trained goldsmith with an advanced diploma from George Brown’s Jewellery Arts program. This is her second career and prior to this, she was a teacher for 10+ years with a B.A in English Literature.
Eunice is inspired by the art nouveau and rococo era, organic lines and fairytales of her childhood.
“Whether it’s a subtle hint of opalescent color or a bold statement piece, my goal is to create jewelry that evokes feelings of happiness and joy, and leaves a lasting impression on the wearer. I am not content to simply work with traditional materials like sterling silver and gold; instead, I seek to push boundaries by experimenting with mixed metals, alternative materials and coatings. For me, jewelry fabrication is not just about creating beautiful objects; it’s about capturing fleeting moments and turning them into memories.”
