- Hi I’ve seen the 8 week evening classes on the website, but my schedule ussually changes depending on the week. Is there 1 day classes where I can learn the same techniques as I would on 8 week, or 1 day classes are only on specific jewelry piece?
Great question! Some things can be learned in our weekend classes. They are listed as project specific but are equivalent to multiple classes in the 8 week courses. For example in the first 3 classes of the 8 week Introductory Fabrication class students make a band ring, the one day equivalent is the Band Ring workshop. The second project in the 8 week course is something using riveting and texture, the half day pendant course is similar as is the 1 day earring workshop. If you were to take the 1 day band ring, 1/2 day pendant, 1 day earring, 1 day stacking ring you would have similar skills after as taking the 8 week Intro fabrication course.
Casting is a little harder but we do offer a 2 day weekend course split over 2 weekends.
